Tot Decapitated, Father Arrested in D.C.

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - A mother found her 4-year-old daughter decapitated in her home, and the child's father was arrested early Saturday in Washington.

Amber Violette called 911 on Friday evening, saying she had found her daughter, Katlin, with her head severed from her body, Clayton Police Chief Glen Allen said.

"It's the most horrific thing I've seen in 13 years of police work," Clayton Sgt. S. P. Lapsley said.

Deputy U.S. marshals arrested the girl's father, John Patrick Violette, in Washington at a hotel near Capitol Hill, Lapsley said. Investigators found Violette's vehicle at Raleigh-Durham International Airport, learned he had taken a flight to Washington, and tracked his credit card to the hotel, Lapsley said.

Police said Violette, 37, would be held in Washington pending an extradition on a murder charge expected to be filed in Clayton, about 15 miles southeast of Raleigh. The U.S. Marshals Service said an extradition hearing is expected to be held Tuesday.

Indeed no words that can fit. Horrific maybe is a good start but not enough.

I will add this tho - sick people need sick punishment - make of that what you will!

....release him to the general population in prison....the life expectancy of those perps in Puerto Rico's jails was around 12-hours or less unless under protective custody (or so told me a PR corrections officer once).

People like this do not deserve a place on the planet. Upright anyway.

The whole protection from "cruel and unusual punishment" should be suspended for people like this. He deserves only the most vicious and violent demise. Maybe something along the lines of being torn apart by a troop of baboons.

Saw this on the news tonight, it just boggles the mind. To add insult to injury, DC doesn't have the death penalty.

I expect this sort of sickness to increasingly compound on itself.

We are in for very weird and bizarre times ahead.

Just a very strong feeling I have in my bones that I'm right.

As a father of 5 myself, I can not conceive of doing harm to any of my kids. And I can't even imagine any mental illness that would make it possible for a father to do this to his own child.

If they would be willing, I would be glad to administer the punishment on this bit of human debris. It would take days.

I look at my two children (one toddler, one infant), and though I have been frustrated at times with them, I can't for the life of me think of ever hurting them. Now, I have swatted my son (the toddler) a couple of times for not listening (like for running into the street), but never any more than that.

I would like to volunteer as PT-111's assistant in flushing this turd.

That is too good for him and even decapitating him slowly would be far too quick of a death.

I once read a book on Tourture methods, written by a man who did this for a living for a communist government. He described ways to make a person long for death but keep them alive for weeks even months.

I could describe these methods but I will not.
I doubt I could do any of those things to another human being but, to someone who did this to a 4 year old child, I would have no problems at all.
