I'm going to be on TV.....oh joy.

As many of you know I work in TV. Not as an on air personality, I'm not purty enough for that, but as a Broadcast Engineer.

Well, the news department is doing a series on folks who have lost weight, specifically, folks who have lost 100 pounds or more and that is me. I have lost 105 pounds so far. I am right at my goal weight, just 2 or 3 pounds from it and I am starting to work on just maintaining that weight and not continuing to loose any more. It has been hard to shift gears from all out loosing the weight to maintaining a specific weight. But, I'm doing it.

Anyway, they asked me if I would be part of the report and I agreed to it, somewhat against my better judgment, but I felt like I might be able to motivate a couple of people into dropping a few pounds too. Who knows.

So, if any of you live in the Memphis area and might be interested in seeing my formerly fat butt on TV on the morning of Feb 20th, PM me and I will tell you the time and channel to tune in.

Congrats again on the weight loss. I just started. Eating 5 times a day is killing me.

See if you can sneak a little CC lapel pin on air or something to tip your hat to the forum.

Would a S&W t-shirt be out of the question?

I plan to wear my Sig Arms T-shirt if I can sneak it by them.
It fits me very well. No promises.

First of all, congrats on losing the weight! And I agree, wearing the Sigarms shirt would be outstanding.

Whatever else you do: go armed.

Glad to see they're using local "talent". Getting away with the SIG shirt would be cool!

As Nate says - do try and record it somehow and then make up a vid clip.

Good job - it deserves some recognition Mike.

Hey, Mike, be sure they do a good make-up job on you. We don't want any members hurt when they watch the rerun on You Tube.

Seriously, you deserve to be on you had done one heck of a job not just losing the weight, but changing your lifestyle so that you can keep it off. Other people need to know that it not only can be done, it has. Congrats.

    Wink New Goal?

PT: Many of us remember your first post on your weight goals. Well, you've done great, motivated me and hopefully many others. Congratulations!

You do need to remember that your goal should now be another 20 pounds by the 20th, since everybody looks 20 too heavy on camera........

Just pulling your chain. Congratulations again! Amazing!

Thanks guys. I appreciate the complements.

I should be able to make a video of it. I'll try anyway.

I don't think I will be doing my own exercise show any time soon. I am still a little "soft" around the middle. I have to remind myself that it takes a good bit of time for the extra skin and the little bit of fat I have left around my gut area to go away. I'd love to have a rock hard set of chiseled abs but I don't know that I ever will.

I am going to try to get to 160 pounds or a little less by the 20th.
