It's pretty obvious that the cat has not missed many meals. I think the cat is really trying to eat the dog's food. I love the fact that you can hear the cat hiss and the dog growl and also hear the sound of the cat hitting the dog with the paw. The dog does not even react to the paw hitting it hard, fast and continuously. Without the claws the cat does not faze the dog.

The only reason that dog does that is because it knows there aren't razor blades at the end of that cat's paws. Bet it wouldn't do that if the cat was armed.
A person is justified in the use of deadly force, if such person reasonably believes deadly force is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to such person or a third person.

Wouldn't hurt ol' Garfield there to skip a meal or two. I guess the Taco Bell dog there is just looking out for Garfield's cardiovascular health.....

As a cat owner I consider declawing a cat as cruelty to an animal. Cats need claws just to be happy.
