    My TV interview was today....

I wore my TFA (Tennessee Firearms Association) Golf shirt and I think it looked pretty nice.

I was nervous and I thought it showed but everyone says it went well.
The segment on the WHBQ FOX 13 morning show was dedicated to weight loss and spotlights people who have lost over 100 pounds here in the Memphis area. Since I work at WHBQ they didn't have to look too hard to find me.

I broght a pair of my fat guy shorts and one of my old 3XL T-shirts to show how I have changed and there are some pics that show me in fatter days.

If anyone would like to see the interview, it is up on the website and here is a link to the page that has it:

High-five, Mike! That's a heck of an accomplishment and I have no doubt you've set a great example for a lot of people.

Wow. That's pretty incredible. You did that with a simple diet change?

You didn't look nervous at all, btw.

Before moving to Kentucky, I used to live not too far from WHBQ (South Greer, about half a block south of Southern). I didn't get into the wonderful-terrible world of television until I moved but I remember driving by the station all the time.

Now I'm an engineer at a university TV station (pays much better than stations in this market). Funny, though, the engineers I used to work with at the NBC affiliate up here were almost all gun nuts. We were pretty much the hard-core conservative end of the whole station.

    Mike - my hero!!

Man - you did a great job with that interview - came over just great! The brief pic early on of your facial ''spare''! - heck that really showed the contrast. Amazing how much those xtra #'s had blown you out.

As we have said over and over - your achievement is positively superb and a lesson for many - kudos all round. Thx a lot for the link to that vid - it was a pleasure to watch.

Great job Mike!! Heck, you look like you could have taught the lady who interviewed you a thing or two, she looked a little "chunky".

Very good interview and great success story. Best continued wishes to you -- you will not be sorry. I have been down from 230 to 180 for two years for no reason other than I got tired of buying bigger clothes all the time.

Hey, Mike! You da man! Great interview and a great accomplishment. You are an inspiration to us all. I called the Alabama State Troopers and told them to put you back on the Welcome to Alabama list. (Sorry I just couldn't resist reminding you that we would love to have you back in Sweet Home Alabama. Don't forget you are supposed to stop by on your next trip to see your wife's family.)

Let us know when you are going to be on with Hannity & Colmes. We'll all watch.
