You have to make the shot when fire is smoking, people are screaming, dogs are barking, kids are crying and sirens are coming.

Are you effing kidding me? I mean, seriously! Look how far her elbow is out from her body!![]()
Seriously, that's pretty funny. It wouldn't have been so funny had she actually been forced to use that 7lb club she had shouldered...
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

Now, if I (speaking as someone with 0 experience as a LEO) was outside a barricaded suspect situation, and felt the need to pull out an AR, I would probably want to chamber a round. I wonder how trying to do that worked for her?

Wow. I never knew that the mags fit that way. I'll have to go home and change mine right now!![]()
The magazine stayed up in the well even without the release engaging. If she charged the bolt it would lock to the rear with a loaded mag or not. When she released it it would ride forward just the same as if there was a round in the chamber.
$50 says she went thru the motions of loading and chambering just fine, except inserting the mag backwards, and had no idea she had an unloaded weapon in her hands.
In all fairness I've seen Soldiers do the similar things under fire. Had a LT who kept trying to clear his M2HB when returing to the FOB after a firefight. Forgot to remove the ammo belt, so he just kept chambering another round. Stress makes you do funny things.
The sad part is that nobody noticed and corrected her.

Would ya think she could use some more training?
Haha, awesome pic!

I had to go try that myself...............mine only goes in about 1/4-3/8 of an inch, it definitely doesn't seat that way.

Maybe the Mable Falls Pd need to consider following the Lapeer County Michigans's Sherrifs Dept's lead and put those black rifles up for auction.
