Just an observation. There seems to be 2 camps here. One insists that going to WW armed is a rite of passage for new CCWers. The other swears they NEVER shop there.

You don't have to shop there to carry there.
I view WW as a neccesscary evil. I love the cheap prices but I hate how they are exploiting the economy and hurting small town business

Since the opening of our local Super Wal Mart 9 years ago the local economy has grown if anything. We watched carefully and none of the local mom and pop stores went out of business. Winn Dixie closed, but that is part of the restructuring they are doing and their prices could not compete with Kroger, let alone Wal Mart.
As far as WM cutting prices, not necessarily, we shop for most things at Aldi's. As a case in point, they have eggs for $0.54 a dozen right now, which beats WM by about $0.25. The only thing about Aldi is bagging your own purchases, so what, if I save I don't mind doing the bagging.
We still buy clothing at TJ Max, JC Penny, etc. Sporting goods come from a couple of local stores, fishing at one and guns/ammo at another, as they usually meet or beat WM on prices.
You just need to be a wise shopper to get the most bang for the buck in any market.
PS - I carry to Kroger, Wal Mart, Aldi, TJ Max, etc.

The only thing you need to buy are some nachos.
Leaving aside the actual purchasing of - anything ... WW is certainly one of the places where unless real late in day - you'll find hoards of people.

Frankly I'm sick of the Walmart haters.
Basically if you hate Walmart you're a communist.![]()

I do all of my shopping at WalMart. I like being able to buy things at the price that's advertised, without having to use a special card. The only time I go to Kroger is to buy stamps( Walmart doesn't sell stamps), and because they've lost so many customers to WalMart, I never have to wait in line.
The early-bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.
Let me ask you guys a question or two. This is for the ones that don't like Wally-World because 'they are hurting the little guy'.
Ever wonder why there are no buggy whip makers anymore? The answer is simple, something better came along. There is no demand for horse & buggies, so no more whips (at least for buggies).
Ever wonder why CCW holders don't carry flintlocks? Again, it's because something more modern comes along.
Ever wonder what happened to the 'mom & pop' grocery stores? The more modern & convenient grocery stores came along. Can't blame Wal-Mart for them, Food Lion...etc...has been around a lot longer than Wally World.
Look, I'm all for nostalgia & wanting the way things were 'back in my day', but lets get real....it's the 21st Century, things change & progress. Some of the change is not pretty, but change it must. I bet most of the people that complain about Walmart 'hurting the little guy' also shop on the internet......isn't that hurting the 'little guy', who can't compete with low cost & gee whiz-bang internet sites?
You can blame Wally-World, but it isn't the blame equally shared?

Yeah Things change.
Like America used to be Strong and Good.
Made in America was a good thing.
America used to support its own.
Now we outsource JUST for the bottom line.
Our politicians Don't care about the Good of the people or the Will of the people. They just care about getting re-elected.
When I shop at wally word I try to buy American.. I usually just buy ammo ..
America used to have a Middle class... Say good bye
