If you thought the B52 video was good ........

Guys - this may be a tad smaller but hey - even if you ain't an RC flier, this will be well worth a look. The plane has a belly mounted Bell X-1 which is released in the air and another pilot flies that which includes a rocket burst and aerobatics.

Then back to the B29 - which proceeds to do outside loops - low pass inverted and even ejects two 'pilots' with chutes.

This is a superb scale plane - totally awesome IMO.

That was great! Wonder if the guy with the B52 could mount an X15 on his....... That would make quite a pair!

Pretty cool. I wonder how fast the X-1 could go if it didn't kill all of its speed gliding

Chris, I have to admit that was waaaaay cool. Those guys knew what they were doing. Chuck Yeager could not have handled the X-1 any better. The B29 flying was superb. That's almost enough to make you want to get into RC.

A buddy of mine retired from Piedmont Airlines and spent his entire life in planes starting in the Air Force.

I have learned more about aircraft in the last four years than I could have imagined.

Even though I would prefer to walk or drive than fly, these RC's are neat.
