I liked the quiz: http://franz.org/quiz.htm best. I scored 32 on that one.

    38... what do I win?

On the pol compass, which I've seen before, I rank 8.38 right, 0.10 authoritarian
Liberty is an inherently offensive lifestyle. Living in a free society guarantees that each one of us will see our most cherished principles and beliefs questioned and in some cases mocked. It's worth it.

    34. I think the test is bogus though because I am much more conservative than that.

    32. But there were questions I gave the closest answer instead of the answer I would have liked.
There are over 550 million firearms in worldwide circulation. That's one firearm for every twelve people on the planet. The only question is: How do we arm the other 11? (Yuri Orlov [Nicolas Cage] Lord of War)

I got a 32 and thought it placed me about right.

I scored 30 so I guess I'm normal. I sure don't want to go the other way

Scored a 38 on this one, although some of the answers weren't exactly what I wanted to select.

A 33 on the first test (I think I'm more conservative than THAT!) and a Economic Left/Right: 1.50, Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.03 on the second (I KNOW I'm more of a Libertarian than that).

I think both tests are flawed. I find it interesting on the second test there are no politicians in my sector...

Yeah, the political compass test is weird. I'm fairly certain that strongly weighs a lot more than just agree/disagree for the score. With that being said, most Libertarians I know don't get out of -4 on the authoritarian/libertarian scale, so don't feel too bad about the score.
