MS DST patch
Link takes you to MS download page.
In 2005 Congress changed the law on DST.
In order for you computer to update at 2.00 PM DST, you need a patch from
Microsoft to effect the time change on your computer. This does not apply to
Microsoft's newest system Vista, and only XP and older computers made before
2006.
You may also do this manually, but I also told if you don't have the patch
you
will need to do this on a yearly basis.

I use a small utility that checks the time at the atomic clock. It will change my computer automatically. I turned of Windows changing to and from DST three or four years ago.

It's all done with smoke, mirrors and really thin, strong wires.....
Mine updated just fine on it's own as well. Should the question be how did MS get it right?

I guess maybe the fix was already within one of the automatic updates - that seems feasable.
I went to download that to apply it but on reflection it seemed to happen too quick - so possibly not needed at all for me. My clock did change over night anyways.

It was indeed within one of the automatic updates that came out sometime early in February, IIRC.

Remember that your friends and assosciates may not be as computer literate as the rest of you. Make sure any appts and such from outside have the correct date and time on them. A good idea for the next week or so is to type in the date and time of any appt in the subject line before you send it out. That way, everyone will have the correct times even if their appt/calender software is still on the backside of the technology curve.

No way. All internet comerce would come to a grinding halt if people couldn't shop in a "less than fully clothed state" ie. underwear.
(Does anybody know of underwear that works with an IWB holster?)
