    Weight loss goal reached!

Just blowing my own horn here, I reached my weight loss goal yesterday morning when I stepped on the scale and saw this.

270 pounds to 160 pounds in about 10 months. Now, I want to keep building muscle mass and keep losing fat (I still have a small layer of fat around my gut area) and just maintain instead of focusing on losing.
I may actually gain some weight but that is very OK with me as long as it is muscle weight and not fat.

I never want to be fat again. Everything is better now. Seriously, everything is better.

Anyone out there who is trying to lose weight, keep at it. Once you reach the goal you have set for yourself, it is an amazing feeling!

Congrats. That is a HUGE accomplishment. I recently lost 20 lbs. and felt great about it. A huge help to me was Mens Health. Awesome magazine that isn't full of people on steroids.

110# gone in less than a year... outstanding!
I think you should get a spokesman job for Nordic Trac, and go kick Jared's backside. Or on second thought, lay low... Richard Simmons might want to give you a hug. Just don't start wearing those shorts like he does.
