The only movie that realy impressed me lately was "The Departed", and the "Borat" flick.
The new Bond movie couldnt hold my atention, I just cant get into over the top action movies anymore.

'75Scout; did you see Aliens Vs. Predators? Not Citizen Kane by any means, but it was much better than I expected it to be. Some great business with the Predators.

'300' was great, as far as mindless fun goes. 'bridge to terabithia' made me cry like a pansy. really.
as far as rentals go, the last good thing i rented was 'equilibrium'. good story, good acting, excellent 'gun kata' action. anyone into gun ballet type movies are required to see it. now!

When my husband asked me what I wanted for my birthday, all I said was, "Hint: It's released on March 13." I got Casino Royale for my birthday. I was so happy. Daniel Craig, in my eyes, is the best Bond.
I really liked "Shooter."
First, it was a sniper movie.
Second, it had lots of guns in it.
Third, it had Marines in it (I have a weakness where dress blues and digital cammies are concerned).
Four, well, shooting at that kind of distance (on a movie, and ESPECIALLY in person) is SEXY.
There.. that's my review of "Shooter."

Casino Royale – Great movie, I was prepared not to like it, but was (disappointed?) as it was great.
Invincible- A little slow but really a good movie.
Lucky Number Sleven – lots of twists and turns good movie.
Gross Point Blank – (you are so right great movie)

raytracer I loved Aliens vs Predator. The ending was somewhat cheesy, but I loved the costumes, fights between Pred/Alien, and Preds ambushing humans. I liked all the weapons used. They left it open to for a sequal and I hope they make it. It would be cool if it was just Predators hunting Aliens with no humans involved.
I also just watched Casino Royal and it renewed my interest in the franchise. The last couple of 007 flicks were crappy. I also recently watched Domino, Equlibrium, Lucky # Sleven, and 16 Blocks. I liked them all. And I really want to go see Shooter, Blades of Fury (the new Will Ferrell flick), 300 for a second time and rent Smokin Aces, The Good Shepard, and Children of Men.
Yeah I like Glocks, wanna fight about it!

Airplane (The Dont Call Me Shirley Edition)
Second Hand Lions (Chick movie that guys can actually see. Robert Duval is a master actor.)
Patton (Umptieth time)
Rough Riders Mini Series.
The Departed will be seen tomorrow AM on PPV. Will give opinions in the PM
Gross Pointe Blank? Love It !
You have to make the shot when fire is smoking, people are screaming, dogs are barking, kids are crying and sirens are coming.

You are my kinda guy. I haven't seen the Rough Riders series, but I love the rest. Gross Pointe Blank is one of the best movies ever. Gotta add Red Dawn, though. Hard to have a list of good movies without adding that one.

Just saw SHOOTER today! AWESOME! I loved Casino Royale, even though Daniel Craig is a gun grabbin' weenie in R/L.

300 - excellent
Borat - high five ~ very nice!
The Departed - Up there with Goodfellas!
I saw "Open Range" this morning on DVD. Beautiful cinematography. One of the best Westerns filmed in a long time. Dialogue and shoot-outs brought type of authenticity last seen on "Tombstone".
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

Just saw Casino Royal tonight and you guys are right, it kicked butt. Best Bond film in a long long time.
I love "Collateral". Very good gun handling skills by Cruise int hat move. I really liked his character, Vincent too.
"Red Dawn" is a good one. Makes you feel very patriotic every time.
"Toombstone" is by far my favorite western with a very close second being "Unforgiven".
"Grosse Point Blank" is a great movie.
"Ronin" is one of my all time favorites.
"Midnight Run" is a great comedy. Da Niro and Groden make a very funny pair.
I liked "The Born Identity" a lot. The second one wasn't quite as good.
And, I liked all three Terminator movies. My Fav being the second one.
