As promised in this thread previously, here are the pics of my very own Rollergirl.
She wanted me to post the pics here as she read the previous thread as it progressed and wanted to show her appreciation for all the suggestions of names, and especially for the name she has chosen 'Rocky Toppler'.

She wouldn't be too hard on you, she has a soft spot for us Brits.
She does run rings around me though, I have no shame in saying that she tells me what to do, it's for the best that she does too.

She's out practising again as I write, anyone in Nashville should come along April 7th for the next Derby!

A friend of mine from high school disappeared off of my radar for the better part of a decade. Last year, I found her on Myspace. Turns out she moved to Florida (from Massachusetts) and is with the Tampa Bay Derby Darlins. I read up a little on the sport... it's crazy! Kudos to Mrs. .02 for toughin' it out, and let's have some pictures of the bruises, because you know they're badges of honor! Here's one of my classmate, Miss Jane Danger.

Check out the picture I posted above of her standing side on, those are bruises on her upper arm from practice on Sunday.
Her backside is covered in them, I had to ask her if someone had been biting it.

I just saw a show on the travel channel about the Roller Derby Girls and really enjoyed it. This is my kind of sport.

Smart good looking girls on wheels mixin it up. Tough as nails.

Tough as nails but sweet with it, she just got back from practice and asked if I would let them have a party here this Friday, they have a group sponsored walk on Saturday and our house is a good place to crash the night before.

But I get the feeling it would still happen even if I said no. Oh well, I'm not going to argue with 12 girls that kick butt for fun.

Nice pics .02. A rollergirl, Glock packin' wife? You must've been good in a former life! I like that name she picked, it even SOUNDS painful.

Just a suggestion but you might want to hide anything breakable before the girls show up Friday.

About the only thing I own that's breakable is the contents of my drinks cabinet, and I'm not worried if that gets 'destroyed' in the process of the night. We bought this place specifically for parties.
