Dogs are not engines, they are not to be degreased with harmful chemicals! Never use products that are not intended for use on animals! My GF is a dog groomer and you wouldn't believe the neglect and abuse some animals have endured.

I know some of you are joking and I got it, but I feel sorry for the people who weren't.

I'm sorry. I would have posted some advice about orange zest and baking soda. But I was laughing too hard.

Well my dogs didn't come with a manual, I got them in used condition in a FTF deal. As they are part of my HD set-up I assumed that they were able to take the same treatment as my Glock, I haven't done a full torture test with the dogs, yet.

One of them did get damp today when I subjected her to a saltwater endurance test, she came out of it rust-free but smelling of deer crap again. So I have sprayed her with a 50/50 solution of gasoline and kerosene, I am about to dry her off with an acetylene torch...

Just for future reference. My wife worked at a kennel for a few years. They used vinager and water douches for skunked or extremely bad smelling dogs. I've had to use it on my own dogs a few times, it works. Rinse and repeat. Going to Walmart for a case of it when they ran out wasn't fun though.

Unless they're Labs I'd be careful with the dishwasher. That spot free rinse could really screw up the coat on a dalmation/brittany/springer.
