You know you have it bad when???

I got up early today to do some much needed errands around the house. What with all the rain we have had in the past weeks, the family Assualt Vehicle (Excursion) and the wife's rocket were both in need of some TLC and washing. I turned on 107.5 and proceeded to wash the cars, I guess the tunes were too loud and Renee woke up and came out. She looks at me and busts out laughing. I had not noticed that she was there, but I would not put my finger on the trigger of the water nozzle gun thingy until I was ready for water to come out. She literally bust out laughing to the point she was coughing but said that it was CUTE.

I finished washing the cars and then noticed Renee had asked me to hang a few plant hangers in the dining room, so I busted out the drill and she sat by and watched me do the same thing all over again. Finger off the trigger until I was ready to let er rip.

How bad do you all have it?

Andy - yep - guilty! Certainly with drills - always find this! Even find same when using one of those long butane gas grill lighting dealies.

    It's a habit I cultivate - I have to admit! Not a bad one I reckon.

When I was installing phone systems I had several people point out that my "trigger" finger was laid along the "frame" of the driver/drill until I had the screw placed and the bit seated, then would pull the trigger in a single movement. just can't bring myself to touch a trigger until ready for use.
