Don't worry Miggy, I'm still here I haven't ticked her off that much lately. If I can get away with spilling Hoppes bore solvent on the bedroom carpet and not get shot I think I'll be ok no matter what.

Lima, the next time that you're at Wally World, pick up a box of trash bags and a bottle of bleach with your ammo!!
It's not about the caliber you carry, it's about how you USE it.

LOL.. I can't be too hard on him. He just bought me roses tonight and chocolate covered peanut butter balls. Yeah... he stays healthy!

And God be with the helpless fool who tries to take him away from me!!!

I think at that point I would have turned around and said, "Not yet, but that could change." Or possibly, "No, but if I had I would be buying flowers not a get well card."

I guess I'm fortunate the Wal-Marts I go too seem to have people who don't want to hassle you. I don't buy much ammo at WW, but when I do they get it, ring it up, and hand me the ammo and receipt.

Feel fortunate enough to have walmart employees who know 1 caliber from another. ours are really dense here. Half the time i have to point to the box. Usualy I buy at the local gun shop.

I can see that happening, just that way, at the most inopportune moment. Gotta love large public spaces. The people-watching opportunities are the most fascinating thing about them.

Well your card choice could have been a sympathy card, that really would have been interesting.

I was at Wal-mart and picked up four boxes for my .45, the clerk was, a little squirly about the 200 rds for my 1911, that I decided to get 300 rds for my XD.

As far as supporting the local gunshop, they get enough from my firearm purchases and I'm not completely comfortable doing business with that store (even after SEVERAL purchases they still don't treat me with much respect and I get a weird vibe off the owner). The other gunstore is a regional sporting goods store with a mark up that makes it worth going to Walmart.
