You do however, need to take a day or two off from time to time to let the muscles really regenerate and that is what I have done the last two days, Friday and Saturday. I didn't do anything other than crunches Friday night. Honestly, I hate taking days off but I know I have to.

But wait, they made some pretty dire predictions for last year and not one thing hit the US did it? Hmmm....seems that maybe those hurricane forecasters might not know anything doesn't it?
Mobile has a much lower cost of living that Shelby county TN does I'll tell you that. If my wife and I could make the same amount of money that we both are here there in Mobile, I'd be moving back in a heart beat. But, that isn't likely.

1988 DIE HARD 2008
I am switching my work out routine slowly to a more weight lifting oriented one versus the maxed out cardio program that allowed me to lose the fat.
I now want to gain weight back in the form of muscle. In fact, I wouldn't care if I weighed 190 pounds if it was all solid muscle. As you can see in the pics I have added some muscle but am now going for much more.
I have started in the last week to add calories to my diet and more protein. I eat a protein bar with my lunch and I drink a Whey Protein shake every day. The bar adds about 150 calories to my diet and the shake adds about 200 calories.
So I am now in taking about 1900 to 2000 calories a day and still I am burning fat.
Honestly guys, I wish I had done this a decade ago. I feel so much better I have a hard time believing it.
I'll post another picture in a month or two if I have a good bit of muscle gain.
If you are thinking of getting in shape, do it! There is no time like now and it will change your whole life. I am a happier person now and I attribute it to the fitness. I feel great.
Hey Mike, thanks for the link to the site you have been asking your fitness questions on. I just skimmed over it, there seems to be a lot of knowledge and friendly people there. I'll probably join over there as well, after I take in all the info that is already there.

Glad you found that forum, they probably know more over there than I do. Just remember to be patient with the muscle gains, it takes time, and don't get discouraged if you plateau for a little while.
Keep up the good work, protein is your friend.
