    Absurd scenario

Ok - it was a dream last night!!! As we know dreams can be wierd.

I was for some reason defending from the top of a staircase ..... trying to stop the ''hoards'' from getting to me and mine.

Odd thing was tho - while my gun was ''normal'' - it was my SIG ... my ammo supply was approximating Aguila Super Colibri's in size Even stranger - this ''ammo'' was functioning just fine and making a much bigger bang than it should have. LOL.

End result? No idea - the dream scene never played out.

We have discussed dreams before I know and while I personally have very few ''shooting'' dreams, am well aware that dream material can be VERY bizarre.

Any other real bizarre defence dreams?

When I was 19, four guys broke into my apartment. Before I could get my hands on my shotgun I was jumped by three of them. Three had bats and one had a shotgun. My roommate at the time heard the commotion in the living room where this was happening and came out with his Browning HP...he shot and killed the armed guy and wounded another...two got away without injury...

After this happened I was having some pretty nasty dreams for awhile about people breaking into my apartment and me engaging them...

I had one long time ago. A deserted town, trenches that became tunnels going in and out of the abandoned houses, any kind of rifle you can imagine. Hordes and hordes of bad guys you could never kill. I was with a friend that in real life does not shoot at all, but was doing damn fine in the dream. The more we killed, the more they appeared.
I remember getting frustrated and I guess I was mumbling and moving in bed with enough gusto that my wife woke me up. Man I was mad! It was FUN!

I had this dream many years ago prior to CC when I was a younger man....

...I was walking down the street with my Beretta 92FS under my shirt when I came across a rapist in the act of trying to have his way with a young woman. (It wasn't THAT kind of dream - they both had their clothes on at this point, but he was lying on top of her.) I walked up right up to them and drawing the Beretta, put the barrel between his eyes and said, "I woudln't do that if I was you." I can still remember the look of shock on his face. He jumped up and ran off.

I woke up before the young lady could thank me.

    Talking

Hey Chris...next time either make up an ending or go back to sleep now and finish it up.

    No more dreams without endings.

sigh.. all this zombie talk.. all I keep picturing is Dawn of the Dead, when they are taking pot shots at the zombies in the parking lot with the gun shop owner from across the street...

Trouble is QK - for me - very few dreams reach a conclusion! They just quit or change to some other bizarre situation!

    Very frustrating.

You aren't kidding. I can't remember the last dream I had where I actually got a resolution.

Darn subconscious just isn't keeping up with my sleep schedule.

I think my absolutely WEIRDEST gun dream was of sniping Terrorists who were running around in their white hanes underwear.

I think limatunes needs to seek some sort of professional help. Or just lay off the spicy pepperoni and jalapeno pizzas before going to bed.

Yeah...that's what they call a "One Cut Of Pizza With Anchovies Too Many" dream.
