Ronald Reagan Quotes
"Here's my strategy on the Cold War: We win, they lose."

government and I'm here to help."
"The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they're ignorant:
It's just that they know so much that isn't so."

"Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!"
Blessed be the Lord my rock who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle. Psalm 144:1

On the anniversary of the attempted assassination by Hinckley this is appropriate.
"Honey I forgot to duck" - March 30, 1981
Some others I like.
"We are a nation that has a government — not the other way around. And this makes us special among the nations of the Earth. Our government has no power except that granted it by the people. It is time to check and reverse the growth of government which shows signs of having grown beyond the consent of the governed." —Inaugural address, Jan. 20, 1981
“Whatever else history may say about me when I'm gone, I hope it will record that I appealed to your best hopes, not your worst fears....
“May all of you as Americans never forget your heroic origins, never fail to seek divine guidance and never lose your natural, God-given optimism.” —Speech to Republican National Convention, Aug. 17, 1992
Reagan had some great speech writers that created some memorable speeches for him. Peggy Noonan's book, "What I Saw At the Revolution", is a good read from that perspective.

I was going to recommend a book that is a great collection of Reagan quotes, but it looks it is out of print. You can still get it used and "new" from other sources on Amazon, but they have gotten rather expensive.
The Common Sense of an Uncommon Man: The Wit, Wisdom, and Eternal Optimism 0F Ronald Reagan

God I miss that guy......
"Terrorists don't seem to be too afraid of stern language. But I do notice, that while the fear of death does not seem to deter these people, the fact of BEING dead does significantly decrease their operational effectiveness. "

The only useful thing I could think of doing with cloning would be to clone Reagan.

I have a CD titled Amazing Grace, Songs Of The Reagan Memorial, all done at the DC and California services. Great disc!
Anyone that can listen to Amazing Grace played on the bagpipes and not get a lump in his throat just ain't human, IMO.
When you’re wounded and left on Afghanistan’s plains,
And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier.
