150ft lbs of recoil energy?
Consider that a .44 magnum produces somewhere around 11ft lbs of recoil energy. A hot and heavy .458 WinMag might be around 60ft lbs. 150ft lbs of force will surpass the capabilities of my 1/2" torque wrench. A good pneumatic impact wrench will produce about 150ft lbs of force.
You first :)
Liberty is an inherently offensive lifestyle. Living in a free society guarantees that each one of us will see our most cherished principles and beliefs questioned and in some cases mocked. It's worth it.
The .825... Ya know I'm pretty sure the military fields this one. But I'm pretty sure they lob it in ballistic trajectories and call it artillery.

"It is enough to note, as we have observed, that the American people have considered the handgun to be the quintessential self-defense weapon." - Justice Scalia, SCOTUS - DC v Heller - 26 JUN 2008
It is a 20 mm round.... dayam!
You have to make the shot when fire is smoking, people are screaming, dogs are barking, kids are crying and sirens are coming.

If such a gun did exist, I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. I know of a young lady who might give it a try though.
I saw one of these for sale at the last gun show, they were advertised as the largest hand gun cartridge ever... but when I picked up one it was plastic, actually a novelty cigarette lighter, take a closer look at the photo.
