Ok, my eldest son had his first turn behind the wheel this past weekend.
I live on a farm and have a nice long gravel driveway. He did wonderfully. I felt completely safe sitting in the passenger seat next to him and he was at least 10 feet tall when he parked the car in front of the house.

We had an old Willys jeep on the family farm that I learned to drive with... I started right around 11 too. Good times....
