NRA endorsed life insurance?
Well, the wife and I have been planning on picking up a little bit more life insurance coverage. Lo- and behold I get an email from the NRA the other day offering life insurance. If it were any other source I would dismiss it out of hand, but they seem to offer reasonable rates for the level of coverage we need.
Does anyone have any input?
How about Zander insurance?
Care to make any recommendations?

I just got life insurance through the NRA. The rate was better then anything else I could find, and I was happy with the entire process. If you want more detail, PM me and I will be happy to fill you in.

So you are happy with them? I am glad to hear it. Any advice?

Just pick the amount of insurance you want. They will then give you a preliminary quote. I don't know how old you are or what medical conditions you have, but I was required to give them a list of my doctors with authority to release my medical records. They also sent a nurse to my house to take a medical review and take my vitals, blood pressure, pulse weight, height, etc. All at their expense. After a review of all of this by their underwriting department, they approved me but with a higher premium then originally quoted. I had no problem with it because even the higher premium was quite a bit lower then the group policy I had at the law school I teach at.
Hope this helps.
