That thing is crazy looking. I had to look sand boas up as I had never heard of them. They look like they are a bore though as they just sit under the sand. But still awesome none the less.

Do visitors ask: "Is that an aquarium of just sand."

    bad joke I know, .

    Here are a few pics.
The first one is of a cat that my ex girlfriend and I adopted from the street by our house. When she moved out, she took the cat (Wee Belle) with her. I miss that cat. She was a character. A personality like no other cat I've ever known. Spunky, rambunctious, but affectionate as all get out. When we found her, she had an old injury (unknown) and so her right front paw is completely paralyzed, atrophied, and the wrist is frozen at a 90 degree bend. Running on pavement had worn the fur and skin off the wrist, but now that she stays indoors, that all grew back. Fortunately for her, the arm is numb from the elbow down. This cat, though kinda small, and partly debilitated, can hold her own in a fight, believe me! And she is not slow!

The second one is of my cat, Feather, who is still with me. She's about 4 years old or so. I adopted her from a shelter. She is a mushy sweetheart, very affectionate and talkative.

The last pic is of an alligator spotted on the bank of the Loxahatchee River, in Jupiter, Florida. We were on a tour boat.

Ever seen the movie "Dead Alive"? That dog reminds me of the cursed Rat Monkey that caused the zombie outbreak!

Look at this dog's right forepaw. Try to count the "thumbs" -- are there like three or four of them?! Is this thing confirmed real? It really looks like a special-effects creation...

Our girl, Kiri, who we took in almost two years ago when the people renting the house across the street left her.

    With me.

A few of our fish. Do they count?

    Yup, it's real (http://www.snopes.com/photos/animals/uglydog.asp)

His name was Sam. Truly an astoundingly hideous looking creature, with by all reports a very sweet attitude :)
Liberty is an inherently offensive lifestyle. Living in a free society guarantees that each one of us will see our most cherished principles and beliefs questioned and in some cases mocked. It's worth it.

I remember seeing a special about ugly dogs on Animal Planet. They talked about him and the "World's Ugliest Dog" contest -- of course he was a natural winner for it. His owner really loved him; it was actually kinda sweet (in a creepy way) to see how much she doted on him.

And speaking of creepy, can anyone ID this spider for me? It's next to my hose reel at home and even though I like bugs and spiders, this one's creepy, for sure.

Lucille & Arnold are a couple of (long tailed) Pixie-bobs that run the house ...

    Lucille is a born hunter

    Arnold likes to snooze

    They've been together since kittenhood

Nick - great pics .... seems sometimes only a cat can sprawl into total sleeping luxury!! Nice pair of brotyhers there.

Wendy - excellent spider pic ....... I am no arachno-expert so no idea of genus .... but - kinds pretty (as spiders go!).
