One more from me - again not newest and another bug ... if you can spot it - on a Liatris flower.

You know that never occurred to me. Looking at him right now and I believe you may be correct. Of course Corky thinks he's only half dog and half person!

    How about a mechanized critter?

This is Puck, a robotic vacum cleaner...

Hey, people buy those stupid robotic dogs, atleast this thing actually cleans a mess instead of making one

Besides, it's funny when it looks like he's chasing the cats.

This guy showed up last night and decided to stick around, he's about the size of a silver dollar.

And Woody Woodpecker is on this tree (picture center). I couldn't zoom in any more than this because my digital zoom was off and I didn't have time to turn on it.

Great! The thread returns to life!

Some moths are amazing - and that's a good example. The most amazing one I think is the humming bird moth - a huge one. Oh and the lunar moth too I seem to recall is big.

I can see the woodpecker - at times round here we sure hear them!

I used to live in Northern Delaware and saw one lunar moth at soccer camp when I was a kid. It landed on one kid's back while we were warming up one morning and I never saw another one until I moved down here. They seem to show up after a rainstorm. I had never seen a woodpecker or humming bird, either, until we moved here. Now we've got families of both, the hummingbirds come back every spring and chase after each other and cavort around the trees and feeder. There's a family of woodpeckers in the hollow of a dead tree in the neighbor's yard. We get a lot of cardinals, goldfinches, and now blue jays showed up. If I can get some shots today, I'll post them up.
