Father's Day Gift Ideas.
I have a good idea what I will be getting my Father-in-Law for Father's day.
A framed cross section drawing of a 1911, they deliver for $30, lamination is about $8 extra.

Any other ideas out there?
Never hurts to have a back up plan.

0.02.. That is neat. I LOVE IT!
I'm sure any 1911 fan would love it too. I think my husband would stare at it for hours..lol.
I know I'd use it for those moments when I sit there going, "Now WHAT was that called again?"
Everything to me is, "Then you take this thingy and put it on this what-ya-ma-call-it. The bullet enters this thing-a-ma-bob and when you pull the trigger this do-hicky here falls on that pin and that hits the dealy on the back of the bullet and the gun fires."
Terminology is not my forte.

Hey, we all are not experts on everything, Example:
The stick with the wig at the end = Mop.
Blacktooth = Blackberry or a bluetooth device
The Flat spoon you use to turn eggs over = spatula
"Honey! Can I use this stuff to caulk something?" Hair removal wax.
"Honey, it goes like this: First, put clothes in the washer, then fill washer with water AND THEN add bleach." (So I can't read instructions"
You have to make the shot when fire is smoking, people are screaming, dogs are barking, kids are crying and sirens are coming.

I went ahead and got the 1911-A1 drawing.
I can't imagine it will be a disappointment.
