Where's the line start for that one!

Heck!!! That had to hurt - both of 'em!!!!

I wish I had a pic to hand showing an ol' buddy of mine using his. Haha - he is barely 5'.6'' and probably not much over 100# soaking wet. On a wildfowling trip he tried it out - forget his powder charge (the ''holy black") - but he was adding the full 4 ounces of shot!

Darned near knocked him on his back, as he was shooting high at birds. I have shot a heavy load thru a 10G and that was enough! Mind you - the 4G he used was so long I am sure he coulda swung it and clubbed the birds to death

John Ross, author of Unintended Consequences is a big fan of the 4-bore double rifle. Makes his own cartridges from scratch.

When you’re wounded and left on Afghanistan’s plains,
And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier.

Chris I have a Browning BPS NWTF in 10 ga and it is a "blast" to say the least with 3.5" Slugs....
Needless to say, you can feel it the next day or two after putting acoupla boxes thru it....

Haha - you can keep it

I find these days my limit is definitely 12G 3" slug shells - and even then I'd rather shoot my ''buffalo'' loads outa the Ruger #1
