    Oh Graphic Gurus...! Help!

It is official, I can't run my favorite Graphic software anymore.
Adobe PhotoDeluxe will crash and burn just trying to start it.
I want something as simple as PhotoDeluxe and according to Adobe, their Photoshop Elements is the new and improved version of it.
    Any advice?

Have you tried a removal of that app and reinstall?

Not sure how many tools you need Miggy but - there are quite a few pic applications around which are either freeware or inexpensive shareware. http://www.tucows.com is one of many places worth a look.

http://www.irfanview.com/ is a great freebie for basic stuff and as a viewer. I have an old app I use exclusively which is way beyond any registration needs - PM me - I can fix you up.

Removed, Reinstalled more than a couple of times. I had PhotoImpact and I removed it to see if it was conflicting with PhotoDeluxe and nothing.

I tried Gimp and Paint Star and a couple of other freebies but I admit I am dumb they are not. What I liked about PhotoDeluxe was that it was designed for idiots and made projects looks like you spent lots of money on more expensive software.

Hmmm - not sure then Miggy - my offer still stands but it'd take you some time to familiarize.

At very least - grab Irfanview if you ain't got it.

If you're looking for a good free image editor, I recommend GimpShop.

    http://www.gimpshop.com/
    (some more info here) http://gimpshopdotnet.blogspot.com/

Its basically the open source program "The Gimp" with a more Adobe Photoshop-like interface (so it should be less of a learning curve than Gimp would be).

    I'm spoiled ... I do graphics for a living so I'm running Photoshop CS2.

Why go with free and simple when you can buy the most powerful consumer graphics app on the planet... Photoshop!

Sorry, I have to pimp the product a little bit, I'm a certified trainer. :)

Yep, GIMP is a good one. There are a lot of neat things that you are able to do in Gimp.

Dude, there is nothing that will compare to Photoshop.
