Looking for a good brisket recipe...
Ladies & Gents,
It's a long story, but we're still in the process of moving. I would like to smoke a brisket this weekend, but my recipe is somewhere in box-purgatory. Would anyone care to share their favorite recipe(s)? I promise to give credit where credit is due should the wife rave over the results.
Many thanks in advance,
Herk

Check out this website. You could do a search or go to recipes.

You could make it simple and just use salt and pepper or Mrs. Dash. That's all I do. It's all about the smoke.

I'm a big fan of Dalmatian Rub for brisket. Kosher salt and coarse black pepper. Plenty of pepper and salt but don't go overboard on the salt.
Smoke brisket in your usual manner. Preferably direct over mesquite coals. Slice against the grain. Serve with white bread. The only suitable sauce for brisket is Arthur Bryant's, but some others are passable.
I like my briskets like I like my women, simple.

HAGAR: To sign a peace treaty with the King of England.
HELGA: Then why take all those weapons?
HAGAR: First we gotta negotiate...
