MIAMI LAKES, Fla. -- A trapper caught two alligators Friday that were lurking a Miami Lakes neighborhood.
Todd Hartwick, an alligator expert from Pesky Critters, was able to capture an 8.5-foot female alligator and an 11-foot male alligator Friday.
The alligators were first spotted May 12 near Northwest 77th Avenue and 84th Street.
Hartwick set up traps around the lake Thursday.
Neighbors said they had concerns about the alligators because children play near the lake.
It is unclear where the alligators will be taken
Note to self,
Never move to Florida.
I've got a canal across the street. I keep an eye out for the cats that hang around the back stoop, if I don't see them something's up.
A DC.com member who shall remain unmentioned sent me this pic of a well-know LEO from this board on the job. :haha:
That's one big lizard
