Bloomberg leaves the GOP?
Who could have seen this coming? I am stunned....really I am.
Did anyone really think this fool was a Republican other than him? He's a gun grabbing Lib....he might as well have it tattooed across his forehead.

NEW YORK - New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg on Tuesday switched his party status from Republican to unaffiliated,
a stunning move certain to be seen as a prelude to an independent presidential bid that would upend the 2008 race.
Stunning? Who's stunned? Anyone? Anyone?
I hear a lot of crickets chirping out there but not one voice in the darkness saying they are stunned that this Liberal left the GOP....he was one of the biggest RINO out there.

Could be an interesting twist in a pretty boring election. An independent has exactly ZERO chance of winning, so he'll blow tons of his own money and hopefully fracture the liberals into two camps. Great result! He wastes his money, and blows up the liberal folks as he does it!

I hope the fool runs. It can only help Fred, if he's the candidate.

All I can say and not get into trouble, what took him so long.

They are left in full possession of them."

So Bloomberg runs as an Independent...
Hillary gets the Democratic nomination...
Giuliani gets the Republican nomination...
It's a choice between NY, NY or NY to lead the country.

Bloomberg could be the spoiler in the next election. He could spoil it for about any of the current Republican front runners; McCain, Rudy Baby or Romney. Lots of RINOs would vote for Bloomberg because he claims to be "fiscally conservative."
Do not think that Bloomberg could spoil the chances of Fred Thompson since Thompson has a much broader appeal than the mighty trio. JMO.

Glen Beck is talking about Bloomberg now. He mentioned how, out of 8 million people in New York, only 750 were issued Concealed Weapons permits and Bloomberg has narrowed that down to 200.
