I'm a child of the 60's, but I got over it.
Wow - heck I wouldn't wanna wrestle a regular domestic cat with rabies or bad attitude but that sucker ... geez, nasty! He did well.

I guess that's one way to do it!
Tough old guy!

Tough guy, and he did well keeping his head and doing what he had to do. I personally would rather put a couple rounds from my carry piece into the kitty before the wrestling match started though.
I saw this on the news.. amazing story.

After choking it... I would be wearing it. Or hang it on the wall. "Hey what did you get that one with?"... MY BARE HANDS!

That's just pretty cool.
Still, I bet the dude wished he had a gun!

wow, barehanded, unbelievable! He did good
I just saw this on the local news. He lives pretty close by. I have seen plenty of bobcats in my day, but I aint never had to fight one.
Choking also works with dog atacks, so keep that in mind in case you ever have to take one out and can't get a shot off before it's on you. A friend of mine took out a Rotweiler this way while it was clamping onto him. He said it didn't take very long for the animal to expire, but he still was afraid to let go for a while. I don't blame him either.
BTW: that cat has a nice pelt. I'd have it mounted and keep it in my living room.
When you've got 'em by the balls, their hearts & minds will follow. Semper Fi.
Now that guy is tough as nails. Woe be to the punk who messes with him.
The cat did not go easily, the guy was well torn up before it was over.

I would not ever want to go hand to hand with a tabby cat not to mention a Bobcat. Tough guy.
Since it was rabid, I imagine they burned the cat, so he couldn't keep it.
