John Mclain @ the beg looked like he had a Sig
However when its hanging in the shoulder holster it looks like what he finished the movie up with which was a Beretta PX4

Bad Guys had HK UMP's with some berettas mixed in.
Bad guy at end of movie looked like a SS Baby Eagle or Jericho.
Lots of M4's with differn't optics
Lots of Glocks mostly it looked like uniformed patrol officers who had them.

If you saw it did anyone catch the CAMEO. From Die Hard 2?

Didn't care for the 3rd one. I still plan on seeing this one though. Like great literature, whether you like it or not your not properly cultured if you don't know how it goes.

I saw it too, lots and lots of action. I know some will complain that some of the action is unbelievable but that is what movies are all about. What I find truly unbelievable is how those computer hackers can key so fast and never make a mistake. That just never happens to me.

Not in too much of a hurry to see this one... I loved the first, thought the second was dummer than a box of hammers, and then had to rethink how dumb a box of hammers truly is after seeing the third one. I'm going in with low expectations, but still expect to be disappointed...
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

Maggie Q is in this one, don't know if that helps you decide if it's worth seeing...

Okay I took my GF to see it. She went kicking and screaming I said well didn't you like the first 3 she said. "THERES MORE THAN 1". I think she must have lived under a rock for a while. Anyway She LOVED IT! She was laughing the whole time and really getting into the action. The thing is shes not a action movie type. It was cheesy but it was a Die Hard done in true fashion.

I haven't checked the credits- did they change writers? 2&3 were completely different, political diatribes in some respects. This one looks like its getting back to the core.

Loved the first, classic to me flaws & all - that's why McClane was my avatar from quite some time and will be again soon. Missed John McTiernan's direction (directed 1 & 3).

Caught 4 last night and almost posted a thread. I thought McClane at one point had a S&W, maybe I'm wrong here??
I know in previous chapters he had the classic Beretta 92FS - the reason I bought one.

Far fetched, but I live for the firefights, which were worth the price of admission and awesome!
It's not about the caliber you carry, it's about how you USE it.

Just got in from seeing it. I enjoyed it, a little over the top at times, but good. I love Die Hard, its my favorite X-mas movie.

I was kind of expecting him to have a Beretta, but O well. I thought I saw some USP's in there too.

Unbelievable action…this from the people that put an ejection seat in a C-130? Say it isn’t so!

Shoot, the Title alone is tempting me to see the new on "Live Free or Die Hard" just because it sounds awfull close to "Give me Liberty, or give me Death."

Besides sometimes you just need mindless entertainment

I kept thinking it was set in New Hampshire.

Bah, "What About Bob?" was set on Lake Winnipesaukee... "Cabin Fever" was set in NH... and countless TV shows have filmed on location there.
