    Question 3 Times In History?

I was day dreaming today and thinking of what 3 era's I would have like to be present in past history.

    For me:
1- Late 1960's in California (all the great music!)
2- Baltimore Harbor 1812 (When the people of Maryland kicked the Great British empires butt in battle of Baltimore at sea and on land)
3-Scottish Borders 1300's (My family clan united the Nixon's, Elliott's and Kennedy clans and tried to defend the Scottish border area against the English. Our family Castles still stand.)

    How about you?

I get to take my modern arms and engineering and medical knowledge with me to the past, right? I figure I could run the world...Or be hanged for witchcraft, hence the need for some modern guns.

1920's Chicago or New York (Love the music of the time, the cars...just can't explain it.)

1858 Virginia City, Nevada (One year before the discovery of the Comstock Lode).

The Lewis & Clark expedition, 1804-06, just to see the lands they explored as they saw them.

The Mountain Man/Fur Trader era, 1820s to the 1840s.

The late Indian Wars period, 1865 to 1890, riding with the U.S. Cavalry.

With the caveat that I want to come back to my time at wish.
-Nazi Germany after 1928. I want to see and understand how a country could turn the way it did and descend into the madness.
-1874 with McNelly and his Rangers at the Nueces Strip.
-And agreeing with Cpt Crunch: The Mountain Man/Fur Trader era.

Good choices in addition to Jerusalem around 10BC to 40 AD I would also select:
    • Hot Rod thru Muscle Car era
    • Roswell, NM around July 1947

I can somewhat answer that one. Since the depression from WWI, Hitler had an answer for how to fix it. Gained support in towns then cities and kept growing till he took control. The madness then came when he took everyones rights from them. Firearms were one of them, so the population could do nothing to stop him. They could only accept what he was doing and go with it. Otherwise they were in the camps too.

Germany still pays for what happened in WWII. I was over there last year visiting friend's family and they are still called Nazis by England, France and others. Since that war, there are 2 new generations and people still have not stopped.
