Maybe someone was driving on cocaine and the end result was purely coincidental...

I can see the field, but since I don't watch the show, I don't understand the nuts. Anyone help out my curiosity?

    NUTS

I believe the nuts were used due to one of the last episodes of the season. The Grandfather, (Gerald McCrany's dad on the show) was recalling the battle of the bulge in WWII and told the story of the commanding officer of allied forces at Bastogne.

The now famous Easy Company boys were surrounded, outnumbered, freezing, starving, and low on ammo. Just prior to Christmas (IIRC) the German commander offered to allow the Americans to surrender and save the lives of what was left of the soldiers. The U.S. commanding officer sent a one word reply,"Nuts".

This was the same reply that the town of Jericho sent in responce to the offer of surrender from the town that had beseiged them with mortar fire just before the season ended.

I watched the first 3 episodes but, it didn't strike me as that good.

Honestly, since I work in TV, a show has to be really, really good for me to become a fan. Most times, watching TV is too much like being at work so, it stays off most of the time. But when it is on, it is usually tuned to either the History Channel or the Discovery Channel.

I like this show, as you can probably tell, thought some of it is not too realistic and the tactical advisor obviously has his head up his butt becuase the defensive tactics used on the show are the worst you could imagine. They always seem to choose to defend by staying off the high ground and stupid stuff like that.

If anyone wants to see of they like it, you can go to the website and watch both seasons from the first episode to the last online. I have gone on there and watched a few episodes that I missed for one reason or another.

It's certainly more entertaining to me than watching some self centered idiot cry like a baby when they get booted from one of these ubiquitous "reality" contest shows. God I hate those shows. Oh yeah, the 2A is alive and well on this show too. Almost everyone totes a gun.
