Since Glock is sponsoring a NASCAR team...

Since there have been discussions on wearing gun related items have been regularly decried as a bad idea, but since Glock is sponsoring a NASCAR team does it change the idea at all?

So is their car "faster than a speeding bullet?"

Not sure if it changes anything, unless somebody asks, then you could mention the NASCAR team as the reasoning.

Most criminals probably wont ask however

I'm not sure I caught the tail end of an interview on Sportscenter. The interviewer was kinda freaked out that Glock was allowed to do so.

Oooh, they've moved up to the same social circle as Viagra and bad beer. I wonder if Hi-Point will buy space on another car.

Does Glock run in the Busch series? I haven't been able to watch much NASCAR lately but I don't remember seeing their team.

And I don't see why Glock should be bared from sponsoring a team. They are a company like any other. But then in this day and age Winston was forced to stop sponsoring the Cup series. Sissies.

I think for right now people would see a Glock racing hat as more Glock than racing.

I dunno. I still think there are way more DUIs than drive-bys.

We've had the battle of the beer wagons, the battle of the big box stores, now maybe the battle of...no...don't go there.

They run in the NASCAR Busch East Series. Sort of a junior Busch series.

    Will the car be square.

I would think a Glock Racing shirt or hat would not be the same as wearing a GLOCK shirt. As long as the Racing part is easily seen.

If I didn't have an extreme hatred for nascar,I'd support the idea.

I have not "decried as a bad idea" the wearing of gun related items. I wear an NRA hat every day and have their sticker on my truck. I have never in years of wearing in a liberal state had a bad encounter as a result or received damage to my vehicles. I do receive good compliments from time to time. So I think it is great that Glock will be seen on a NASCAR. I hope many other gun manufacturers follow suit.

I would sport any gear of a gun manufacturing race team in nascar! Might help take the "OH MY GOSH A GUN!!!" edge off the American people.

The city of Boca Raton, Florida just denied a guy a business license to operate a paintball field where people could play paintball games.

The idiot leaders of the city were claiming, in a news article, that paintball promotes violence.

So I will take a breath and hold it and wait for a decree from the business bosses of NASCAR saying that they simply won't accept sponsorship from any company that manufactures weapons because "it sends the wrong signals."

    It shouldn't be long.
