    Samuel Colt b.July 19, 1814

Since I brought it up for John Browning's birthday, I figured I should comment on Sam Colt's as well.

A pioneer and entrepreneur in the world of firearms. Known for his revolvers and his company's manufacturing of John Browning designs.

Immortalized in a saying such as "God created men. Sam Colt made them equal." (It doesn't sound quite right, I think I got it wrong.)

Too much history to bring up; but just thought I would mention it.

    He died Jan 10, 1862.

Hard to believe he was born that long ago - but with him and JMB we have perhaps the two most definitive firearms influences ever.

They are for sure immortalized by their achievements.
