Internet Movie Firearms Data Base site
We have all seen a movie and caught a quick glimpse of a gun a character had and then wondered for days "What type of gun was that?".
Well, check out this site and look up that movie and find out what gun the character had. Or, look up a particular gun make and model and find out what movies have had that gun in them.
This is a pretty cool site.

SWEET! Thanks for posting this. Now there'll never be any question when I'm talking to my buddies about what gun a character used.
Thanks Again,

People will debate anything.
BTW, what shade of blue do you think the sky is on a clear, sunny day?

You've obviously never been on any of the message boards for the "original" IMDb (Internet Movie Database). Go check out Heat or Ronin for starters....
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

I want the rifles the bad guys were always shooting at Rambo with. The ones that never ran out of ammo, could blow up a car, a truck or a tank, blast holes in buildings, stuff like that. They just could never hurt Rambo. And, since I doubt I will ever be shooting at Rambo (I'll just run if I see him, he's like 60 years old now so even I should be able to our run him) I'll be good to go.
If you guys like the movie Ronin like I do, check it out on the site. They have all the guns listed and a pretty good set of pics that show characters with them in use.

I want that really odd gun that the Blade Runners carry...
Complete with the proto-laser that was really just a small red LED.

.50 caliber D'eagles are really easy to fire, almost no recoil and are especially well suited to beautiful women who only weigh 100 lbs...

Can somebody back me up on this before I submit an "edit" to that site? In the "Heat" section, they mention that the M-16A2 is used at several points in the movie. However, the screenshots they provide really look like they are of M-16A1s. Note the skinny barrel, A1 style rear-sight adjustment wheel, and short flash suppressor. They do have the cylindrical A2 handguards, which might have thrown them off, but I swear they are using A1s in the film.
Anyway, can someone verify/support this, or am I losing it? Thanks!
