A BBQ gun is a flashy/showy , or somewhat unique gun that makes folks want to say " Hey can i see/shoot that ? " . Ususaly they show engraving, nickle plate , fancy grips and leather or some combo of all the above .

Dang - RR got there first LOL. (and JD and Bud!!!)

Yep - it's a ''poser piece'' ... lots of bling and /or appeal. Chrome or nickel probably feature highly as too might size. I think my BFR might almost be a BBQ gun thru shere proportions

Maybe too in the 1991 camp thrown in this one tho not as detailed as the others ....

IMO, To be a true BBQ gun it has to match your teeth. Gold and pearl, or pearl and gold. Mix and match as you wish.

Six does bring up a valid point in that often the owner of a bbq gun does get asked if he mugged a New Orleans Pimp to acquire said piece.

There are over 550 million firearms in worldwide circulation. That's one firearm for every twelve people on the planet. The only question is: How do we arm the other 11? (Yuri Orlov [Nicolas Cage] Lord of War)

Kind of, but I wouldn't call a gold Desert Eagle a BBQ gun, it's too blingy.

IMO BBQ guns are the showy guns that you don't shoot because they are too good, you wear them at BBQs so Bubba can see it and get jealous enough to ask if he can see it up close.

I don't know if I would let anyone touch it.

Being a fan of Mr. Glock's design, I am absolutely drooling over those engraved Glock 19's.
