It's good the man came out of it alive, and I don't blame him for having the urge to fight back. "Police said that as a general rule, people should not fight armed robbers." So what is someone supposed to do, let the robber beat them to death, and then take what they worked so hard to earn? I'm not gonna sit there and let a robber beat me senseless, I'm going to give him what he deserves if he assaults me, and causes me to bleed.

Police say don't fight back? I wonder if the person who wrote this article is adding their own thoughts? I can understand run away if you can,but to allow someone to hurt you and not fight back is a foreign concept to me.
This is exactly what they invented those little lead pellets for...
