    You can do it,

I've been tobacco free for over a year now.

    Okay here's how I quit.

Set a goal, say tobacco-free for 120 days. In that time, at a pack a day you would have spent what, $360 ?? (I quit at $.50/ pack), now double that as a reward for yourself and go buy a nice gun.

That should make a good incentive.

Congratulations on a good decision and good luck. Keep it up and don't look back, I don't know your age, but you'll be happy you quit especially when you get older and life is more fragile.

YOU CAN DO IT! IT'S WORTH IT! IT'S JUST NOTHING THAT FEELS LIKE SOMETHING.

When I decided to quit. Everytime I got the urge for a smoke...I would do 25 push-ups. Early in the process, I'd end up doing a couple hundred push-ups a DAY! By the time I had actually quit wanting one, I had put 2-3" across my chest & felt GREAT!!!

We're WITH YOU! It CAN be done. Tell everyone what you're doing & make it a matter-of-fact, done deal. You now enjoy CLEAN air.

I've slipped a couple of times....I don't know why its sooo much harder this time. Last time I quit...went to the gym every day...droped about 30 pounds.
Met my (now) wife....and in one night started drinking and smoking :-)
    God love that woman :-)

Good luck brother. I have quit once before, slipped and back to it. Tried a couple of times since, and now with another little one nearly hear I am working up the COURAGE to go for it again and make it all the way. Each time has been a learning experience for me and I hope to do it without the mass weight gain this next time in the future.
I will support gun control when you can guarantee all guns are removed from this planet. That includes military and law enforcement. When you can accomplish that, then I will be the last person to lay down my gun. Then I will carry the weapon that replaces the gun.

I'll be joining you next Tuesday.

I quit once before. It was easier than I thought it would be!! I was smoke free for 3 years. Then I got the insane idea that a cigar would be nice. That got me started again.

This weekend is a 4 day mini vacation for my family and I, so Tuesday is my quit day.

I have been tobacco free for almost a year. Yes, I still on rare occasions crave a smoke.

But here's the deal..if you "slip", beat the snot outta yourself (figuratively). But don't give up and go back to smoking!

Get right back on that smoke-free horse and keep riding.
