Looks like everyone had a great time.

Lord, Grant me a good sword and no need to use it.
Very cool!...
Shooting outdoors is a ton more fun than standing in an indoor range stall popping paper, and shooting with family makes it even better.
Looks like a nice variety of weapons there, too...![]()

first time I got to shoot the M14. Slick rifle, now I know why all the old farts like it more than the M16

2,000 rounds huh!- spendy ol' day there!!!
But it seems one heck of a good time had by all - perfect day and the setting looks great.

Years back in N. MI, one could just drive out to the woods and shoot all day, but not here in FL...can't do that!
Looks like you had a great day out in the boonies...
Thanks for the pic's...

not to spendy, all the rifle ammo were reloads, (200-300 7.62) (400-500 5.56)
All the 9mm was CCI blazer stuff (600 or so) same with the .45 (300)
and all the 12ga was estate skeet/bird shot. (case for 45$)
I probably spent 150$ on the 12,9,&45 and like i said the rifle stuff is all reload. not bad for a couple hours and 6 people.
the land is national forest, by Sly Park/Jenkinson Lake in ca. bout 45 minutes from tahoe.
Not increadably well kept but the locals try to keep it free of TV's and old armchairs. It's got a great 90+ foot berm behind it. It's fun to watch the pistol rounds ricochet off the ground up 15 or 20 Ft into the berm.
We do have to work on the cousin a little though. He thinks its cool to shoot "Gangster" with the pistol layed over sideways. He did really well with muzzle dicipline though. Even when he tripped over a rock he kept it in a safe direction and finger outa the trigger guard.

Always fun to shoot with family and friends.
