20 minutes to VACATION!
Yes! In 20 minutes I officially start my two weeks of vacation! Finally away from complaining guests and whinning co-workers!
I shall be renewing my DL , drop by Home Depot and buy some stuff for home repairs, visit a friend dropping by from TN and the head home. I seriously need to reload, finish installing the surveilance camera, fix the back fence, bathe the cats, mow the lawn, install the ceiling fan on the porch, take the half ton of crap I have in the back yard to the dump, catch a couple of IDPA matches out of town, clean my office/room, do the kydex projects I have lined up (AK Mag Pouches) take the truck to the shop for oil change & the recall notice thingie...
WHEN WILL I REST DARN IT!

Yes I am at work.. he-he-he
You have to make the shot when fire is smoking, people are screaming, dogs are barking, kids are crying and sirens are coming.

Boy, would I like to have two weeks off, puttering around the house, hitting the range, read a good book, watch season three of Lost... nonstop, workout, eat out, take the wife away for a three day weekend in Scottsdale. Sigh. I'm happy for you Miggy... sorta.

You can bathe cats? I suckered mine into the washing machine once, but she won't fall for it again; and I eventually healed.

LOL!! I'll get the wife to take pictures while we bathe the cats.
It is not hard provided they don't find a surface where they can engage claws (I use the bathtub) and the water is warm. Above all, keep control of the back of their necks and they are easy to handle. Do keep the first aid kid handy.
Trick: For those who may suffer with cat dandruff, use a bit laundry softener before the final rinse. I know it sounds weird but works beautifully.

Got mine this week too. Driving to Texas to see a friend for his surprise B-Day.
Miggy, Does that laundry softener make the cats softer?
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft!

You have plenty of time to do that, seeing as how it doesn't start up again until Jan/Feb
argh!
Miggy, enjoy the 2 weeks, even though they sound pretty full, they will fly by.
