Vacation and a new toy
My wife insists that we have to go on vacation for a week. I am being forced to go to Aptos for a week and live on the beach. Actually the wife rented a house, and all the kids are coming too. Before you panic, the youngest is 25 and she is a Correctional Officer, so there will be no patter of little feet less than size 10. Anyway, I had to do something to offset this hardship, and this weekend I found a beauty in one of my favorite gun stores. Today I forced myself to go at lunch and look one more time. I get to pick it up in 10 days, the day I return from vacation. She is a Walther GSP, made in West Germany, three mags, weight/compensator, red dot optic (I didn't even notice which one; it works well). I am a happy vacationer now, and will post picts when I get little sweetheart. This is one of the finer .22 pistols, in great condition. I'm a sucker for .22s...
And Miggy, I will not wash the cat...

I am way too impatient to have to wait 10 days to be able to fondle the hardware I just paid for, that sucks however, I am not too impatient to handle laying around on a beach for a week. Enjoy both, congrats!

John - you will love that!! Back in the days when I was doing serious .22 bullseye, it was the GSP that really got me tuned up.
IMO one of the best .22's for stellar accuracy.
So - beach bum for a week huh?! Can't be bad
