Now, if you excuse me, it is time for a looong nap!
You have to make the shot when fire is smoking, people are screaming, dogs are barking, kids are crying and sirens are coming.

    Looks like great fun.

I've got a USPSA match tomorrow. I'm going to test drive my 1911 .38 Super in Single Stack. Can't wait!

I am due an IDPA shoot soon but flying planes and biking have gotten in the way.

I know one thing Miggy - if your heat and humidity was near what I had today while flying - you musta suffered!! I have a night shoot soon but not sure if I can make it this year ... they are great fun.

Looks like a 'realistic' fun shooting time...(who put the holes in the barrels up close?)

Enjoy the nap...(an afternoon nap is better than the 'dirt' nap every time!) looks like you've earned it!

Hadn't noticed ........ barrels have some (of the obligatory) bullet holes LOL.

Dang - those swingers always make a challenge too.

We were shooting around "columns" which makes it challenging for target acquisition & use of cover. You don't know if you slice the pie, shred the lettuce or julianne the croissant it messes you up so bad.
We also had Stage 2, a Carjacking in which your primary weapon fails and you have to go to BUG.
Stage Three Man advancing with a knife: String one Strong Hand Only, String Two Weak Hand Only.
Stage Four was also 2 strings: Using Low cover and engaging to bad guys starting from standing up to low cover. String Two was engaging 2 bowling pins then a head shot again from standing up to low cover. Both strings had a No-Shoot in the middle and... shot with a BUG gun just to make it nasty.
All in all they were simple stages because it was too damn hot to set up what we call "Habitat for Humanity CoF" but we have come up with some nice evil designs that people cuss for ages about them..hehehe

First Time Shooter engaging Stage Two taking it Slow & Easy.

And another Newbie in Stage one. Don't you hate when the darn poppers keep moving & you can't hit 'em? Here you can see that the first popper releases the swinger.

Oh hell we all done it over the years. We still love hearing a bullet go round 'n round insode the barrel when we hit it the right way!
