Not only has my husband slipped up a few times and called me "Lima" to new acquaintances but today, when someone asked me what my name was, the "Li-" was slipping out before my brain could even say, "Wait! Your name is ....."

Haha... You thought I'd give it away... Didn't you!!

I don't mind being referred to as Lima, however. After all, I started it. I picked the name for myself, didn't I?!?!

I just thought it was funny that when I hear the word Lima, my head flips around like someone has just called my name.

"Lima" in the phonetic alphabet stands for L, the first initial of my last name. The tunes stands for Loony-Tunes, the cartoons. I always loved them growing up and my life is sometimes like a silly cartoon.. a kind of exaggeration and play on what people would consider normal...

Yes, it was a good thing that the PICS system wasn't down as long as we had thought it would be.

We actually didn't loose hardly any business. The PICS system wasn't down long enough for it to really effect us. The day it went back up it was a little slow because the general populous didn't know that it was back up, but we posted signs and spread the word and sure enough, we got our customers back very soon. Sales have been just fine though the system has been a bit sluggish.

Background checks that usually only take about 10-15 minutes have been taking upwards to 30-40. People have been pretty patient, however.

It's been better the last couple of days.

I was pretty impressed, the day after the news aired was my day off but I went up to the shop to shoot at the range. I was in a Smith & Wesson ball cap, crummy clothes, no makeup and just shooting the breeze with a coworker when someone yelled, "Hey! That's the girl who was on the news!"

I hadn't even known I was ON the news.

I know this thread is old, but I wondered where you got the name Limatunes too. I thought your nickname was Lima and since it appears you "tune" guns, viola, LimaTunes- as in Lima tunes guns for a living

Anyway, I like your Youtube videos and blog.
