One thing about it, everytime I've ordered something from Midway it has arrived in about 4 days. They same day ship.

Don't think I have ever seen a commercial from them - but like most - have never (so far) failed to be impressed and pleased with their service.
I treat the main catalog with utmost delicacy - usually being afraid to go thru and then see all the goodies I want (but can't afford)

I enjoy some of the unique firearms that he features along with that brief summary and history.

Not impressed with Midway
Personally, I'm not a fan of Midway. Mainly because of their inflated shipping charges. The other day I went to their site because I wanted to order an inexpensive (cheap) tactical case to haul my AR to and from the range in. I found one on sale for $20.99. Added it to my cart and went to check out. Got a pop-up telling me that in addition to the $10.79 to ship the case, I was going to be charged another $3 because my order wasn't $25.00! I emptied the cart. No way I'm going to pay almost $14.00 shipping on a $21.00 item. Went to the USPS web site and found out to ship the case priority mail from their location in MO to me in NC would cost $4.60! They're trying to charge more than 3 times what it actually costs to ship when you factor in that bogus $3.00 additional shipping charge.
I now use their catalog to get ideas of the products I want and then shop for vendors that offer fair shipping costs and do not try to make extra money off of people with jacked up shipping charges or attempt to force you to increase your order with products you do not need. Ironically they had a huge list of "suggested" items like cleaners and lube, which I am sure carry a huge margin, to add to make my order $25.00, which would increase it by more more than the $3.00 fee.
