    New Darwin Awards

The Darwin awards were published over in VTF, and I thought you might like the one on guns.

When his 38-caliber revolver failed to fire at his intended victim

during a holdup in Long Beach, California, would be robber James Elliot did

something that can only inspire wonder. He peered down the barrel and tried

the trigger again. This time it worked!

    Great Tourist!

That is about EXACTLY EQUAL to lighting a match to "shed some light" on seeing how much gas is left in the ol' gas tank.

Yep, this guy looking down the barrel & pulling the trigger to see why his loaded gun won't fire is the forum Darwin Award winner of the year.

I actually heard this on the news shortly after it happened...suffice it to say that I almost ran off the road I was laughing so hard.
