String of robberies
There have been a long string of business robberies in town recently. Well the night before last while out on a route I drove down a street shortly after 0300. There was a man walking down the street with his dog wearing a red hoodie, with his hood up. He watched me as I drove by, I thought of it as odd and considered calling the police on basis of a suspicious character for a heads up. But I figured nah it’s just a man just walking his dog and it is a little chilly out, ill just let him be. I really didn’t think much of it as I drove off.
Well today I open the newspaper to an article about the string of robberies in town. The surveillance pictures they included showed a man about 5’8 wearing a red hoodie (hood up) with white stripes on the arm, with baggy blue jeans. That man that I saw yesterday was the exact description of the man that robbed the Comfort in that afternoon!
It’s just another reason enforcing why I carry. God knows what could have happened if I left 5 minutes earlier and was standing outside filling up the box that he surely walked past. Luckily I was in the car driving by.

I did call the Franklin county crime solvers for a heads up on it.

If the guy you saw is the same person (being sought), it might be worth contacting police with what you saw. If walking his dog, the guy likely lives within ~1mi of that place.
Nice example of how you'll never know until it hits you in the face. It's why I carry, certainly.
Your best weapon is your brain. Don't leave home without it.
Thoughts: Justifiable self defense.
Explain: How does
disarming victims
reduce the number of victims?

Good. A description of the dog just might be as valuable as a description of the man.
