A lady my wife works with found him abandoned on the side of the road. She put up flyers for a few weeks, but nobody answered them....she couldn't keep him, so.....well, dang....I'm a sucker for dogs...
He is a Jack Russell Terrier, that the vet thinks is about 7-9 months old.....Took him today and got him a clean bill of health and all his shots.....His new name is 'Winchester'...or 'Chester' for short....

    Good Pup,

    Great looking pup.
Terriers require patient owners. They are a handful and a joy.
    Good luck,

Good looking pup, who seems to realize that he has just been handed the keys to the kingdom.

JRT's are a blast. I'm on my second one. My wife bought me a pup after I lost my shepherd.
Make sure you keep him busy and he always has a job to do. If you follow that advice, you'll have the best house dg you can ask for.

What sort of job do you give your dog? I'm not being sarcastic, my MinPin needs a better job than eating socks, and shredding paper.

I hide his toys all over the house, it his job to find them all and put them away. He also keeps the yard free of squirrels, birds, blowing leaves or whatever is out there. You have to keep their minds active. I encourage this stuff because it makes them feel they have a purpose, and I reward him for doing a good job, and ignore the bad stuff. Soon enough, he has learned what to do to get attention... and its not eating socks etc.
