Fun things to shoot at range?
I would like to pick your brains about fun items to shoot when you're out in the middle of nowhere like the desert, woods, etc. Maybe things with good visuals like watermelons? Targets are boring after awhile. Any good stories or ideas (use your imagination)? Thanks for your feedback!

Propane tanks? I shoot bowling pins, lots of fun except you have to stand them back up.
I like jugs or bottles filled with water, spectacular display and easy clean up.

Jugs, shaving cream cans, spray cheeze, bowling pins (like were already suggested) electric fans, tv's are a little dangerous to shoot, but an old stereo, credit card offers, baseball cards, chinese made toys,

I've always been partial to soup cans with the labels torn off, nice and shiny, make cool noises when hit, fun for the kids to see the cans fly, great for .22s

I've never tried this, but I've heard old CD's (or AOL junkmail CD's) make fun targets, despite leaving a mess of shattered plastic.
I'm still looking for a cheap source of liquid filled plastic containers. Gallon jugs do impressive things, but they're expensive.

Ahh, I love the fall. Pumpkins are fantastic, with HP rifles and shotguns in particular.
I like balloons, plates, steel spinners, poppers, empty shotgun hulls, aspirins with .22. Sometimes I'll go to Sams or Costco and buy a flat of the cheapest soda they have... makes for good times.

Golfballs with a .22. They jump quite a bit and you can shoot them alot before they die.
