Let's see, liberals and secular progressives have been taking over and running our schools from kindergarten to our colleges. Rather than teach of the founding of America, our forefathers, patriotism, the Constitution and what's great about America to our children they're teaching our kids how bad America is, how good socialism is and how to put a condom on a cucumber. We've got the ACLU trying to destroy personal and religious freedoms, parental authority and our national security. Soros, who hates America as it is, is spending hundreds of millions of dollars through MoveOn.org, other similar organizations and the democrats trying to socialize it. We've got liberal members of the U.S. Supreme Court citing foreign law and foreign opinion in opinions on court decisions. I could go on and on and on.
And you ask "Where did my country go?"
Now imagine this. Pelosi running the House, Reid running the Senate and Billary walking into the White House on January 20, 2009. If this happens, then all I can say is "YOU HAVEN'T SEEN NOTHING YET!"
    This is what you'd see:
"Naked and Starving as They are We Cannot Enough Admire the Incomparable Patience and Fidelity of the Soldiery" George Washington, Valley Forge, 1777.

You know, all this TEOTWAWKI talk is a bit disconcerting. Yes, there are problems in our society, in this generation, but ALL generations have had their failings. Forty years ago, cities across the country were on fire, and the "old guard" claimed we were all doomed. Fifty years ago we might have been more tolerant of guns, but we were much less tolerant of other races - the "old guard" then had the US ceasing to exist two seconds after the first integrated school opened its doors. A few hundred years ago, an 11 year old girl would have been forced into a financial/political marriage, not given birth control.

I know it is a common human condition to think that we are the last, first, best, most important, or whatever generation, but the fact is that we are not. I personally don't like a lot of the changes that have occured in the 20 years since I left high school, but I don't think it spells the end of the world, either.
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

Ya know, we live in a society where a school teacher has more say in what a child does, says, goes and learns than parents do.....its very, very disheartening. and I am afraid what its gonna be like in ten years or so, when I have a child and they are in school if we keep letting these libs "teach" our children.......

I had heard that the drawing was of a water pistol fight the kids, who were good friends, had.

Yes, it seems the kid is being very responsible. Already training to be an artist or a court reporter. Or something.....
